Mt Biking Labor Day Weekend
Dan & I are planning on trying to get out to Greenbrier/Gambrill/somewhere this weekend, probably on Sunday morning. Anybody else interested in going? We are up for suggestions if someone wants to go somewhere else, as long as it's not too much driving. I'll likely have about 4-5 hours for the whole trip, driving included. Post up or call/text.

Can't make it but....
next Saturday (9/11) is Pickin in the Panhandle bluegrass and BBQ festival. I think Mark and I are going to ride up at Cacapon (awesome riding) in the morning, then hit up the festival in the afternoon. Fun for all (and Cacapon has lots of stuff to do for non-bikers).
Off topic, I know the trip to Wisp is planned for 9/19 (I think). Any chance of making it a) 7 Springs and b) the following weekend????? :o)

I can't do the weekend of 9/26. My daughter's birthday party is that day. All my saturday's are out. If we switch to 7 Spings instead of the Wisp I think they are open later inthe season. We could possibly go a weekend in October. 10/17?
Kelly if you Mark & Dan want to pick a weekend/place that works well for the three of you feel free to make those plans. Between my wife's multiple jobs and two kids, back to school, and this being a big season for birthday's in my family I might have to be excluded to make something work. I really won't mind.

It would not be the same without you. I suggested 7 Springs because many of the downhillers that I've gotten to know say the trails are significantly more fun than Wisp's, and the lift is twice as fast. We might just have to wait until next season....if you guys go on the 19th do you think you'll go again? I might be able to make the 19th work if you are definitely going. Dan?

Re. the 19th. I gave it some thought. Make it 7 Springs and we're there. Lift tickets are cheaper!

we are meeting at 7am and probably going to gambrill.if there are no more tech. glitches we should get some helmet cam footage.we will post about the downhill trip.seven springs looks pretty cool.
