Trip to Lost River Barn
Hey all,
I am planning on booking a trip to Lost River Barn, in Lost River West Va. It is approx. 1.5 hours from the Charles Town area. It is a cycling specific barn with a ride leader who is a cat. 1 racer. The fee for the barn is 400 dollars for the first 6 people and 50 dollars each additional person. Please let me know as soon as possible if you would be interested in coming on the weekend of July 11th. I hope a lot of you will be interested. If we have at least 6 that would be only 66 dollars per person. There are a lot of other things to do as well in the Lost River area. If I get at least 6 people who want to come I will go ahead and reserve the Barn for that weekend. So please let me know, it would be a lot of fun.

This weekend is not only for race oriented persons, you can do a ride of any length and speed. Also there is a lot of great hiking and horse back riding at the lost river state park.
Racing not required
Just thought I'd add that I plan to go to the barn (i.e. you don't have to intend on competing in any races to go along). They have cue sheets for rides, so we could have a couple of groups doing different rides and meet back at the barn afterwards. In other words, we could have a 'velo' group and a 'training' group. OR you could opt to go for a hike- Lost River State Park is very close. It's a beautiful area and great, challenging riding.
