Around 66 miles with a lot of climbing (Just under 6,000 feet). I would say this is a ride for strong B class or A class riders. There will be no drops, we will re-group at the top of each major climb. Several re-fuel stops are built into the route. We will cross over the fabled climbs of Hoffmaster Rd, Reno Monument Rd, Lambs Knoll, Porterstown Rd, and Red Hill! Hope to have some company.

I broke my bike! I noticed it after the 9 HRS of Cranky Monkey
Submitted by Paul Beliveau on Wed, 2011-05-18 21:54.Well after finishing the 9 hours of Cranky Monkey I was back home cleaning and maintaining my Yeti 575. I specifically was inspecting the bearings on the rear suspension because I was feeling this unusual "clanking" in the rear end during the race. Come to find out my frame was actually broken. It cracked on the weld just above the bottom bracket on the seat tube interface. I was very upset indeed. Well, I stripped the frame and dropped it off at the bike shop where I bought it in Gettysburg, PA. They should be calling me soon to let me know if it will be

Mountain Bike or Road Ride (Saturday Morning)
Submitted by Paul Beliveau on Wed, 2010-07-28 19:13.Anyone interested in a mountain bike or road ride on Saturday morning? For the mountain bike ride I was thinking Patapsoco State Park Avalon Area (Some of the best riding in Maryland). This area is about 1.25 hours from Charles Town. I would rate the trails as intermediate with some advanced sections. The route planned usually takes me between 2 to 3 hours depending on who attends the ride. If there is more interest in a road ride, then I was thinking of doing a 70 miler around the Charles Town area. This route has no significant climbs, but a bunch

Thanks
